They are great, except the faux leather does not breath and is way worse than real leather

I know, I know, the use of faux vegan leather is a conscious decision, it is just that I hate it so much, it is hot and sweaty and do not breathe at all. Additionally are more difficult to clean than regular leather. If Feelgrounds made leather shoes, I would not buy from any other brand ever again. But this vegan leather is horrible, and makes me sad because otherwise it is one of the best looking and comfortable shores

No leather

The shoes are divine on the feet. You can't feel them at all. I didn't get any blisters or blisters. They're great for the rain, as they don't get wet. The only thing that makes me sad is that they're not leather. My feet start to sweat over time, and I get cold feet. Luckily, I ordered insoles right from the start. And don't worry: if you use insoles, the shoe size doesn't decrease. I would buy them again if they were leather.

We understand your feedback about the material. At Feelgrounds, we’ve made the conscious decision to keep all our products 100% vegan. We want to manufacture our footwear as responsibly as possible, which is why we avoid the use of animal-derived materials and opt instead for high-quality synthetic and recycled alternatives.

That said, we know that breathability is key to comfort – especially during long wear. If you’re looking for a more breathable option, we’d recommend taking a look at our Original Mesh model. It's made from a lightweight, airy fabric (almost entirely from recycled materials) and offers great ventilation.

Great style and comfort, but a bit sweaty

I got the white pair and they look super stylish. Easy to clean and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of toe space. I own barefoot shoes from three brands, and these are my favorite. My foot is 25.5 cm and size 40 fits perfectly. The only downside is that the material doesn’t breathe, so my feet tend to sweat a bit.

Care instructions

How do I clean my faux leather models?

To clean your faux leather model, first remove loose dirt with a dry, soft shoe brush. If necessary, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe off any excess product with a damp cloth. Ensure the shoes dry in a well-ventilated area at room temperature after cleaning or if they get wet. Avoid drying near or on a heater, as this can make the faux leather brittle. For prolonged storage, keep the shoes in a well-ventilated, sun-protected area. Our faux leather models are not machine washable.

To maintain, protect, and refresh the color of the faux leather, you can use a faux leather care. Alternatively, you can use a waterproofing spray. The waterproofing spray is not necessary for the Patrol Winter, as this model is already 100% waterproof. With our Chelsea models, however, the use of a waterproofing spray is particularly recommended for the elastic ankle piece. To complete the care routine, lightly spritz the inside of your shoes with an odor-neutralizing spray.
